| Kenny's Rod Shop along with Northwest Motorfest built this years, 2007 "Make A Wish" project car.
This was the 5th year of the Northwest Motorfest and the 75th anniversary of the 32 Ford. Radio Personality Jack Armstrong, who also promotes Northwest Motofest came to builder Kenny Welch of Kenny's Rod Shop - Fabrication Division, and asked him to build the 2007 project car; a "1932 Ford Hi-boy Roadster".
With Kenny's Rod Shop - Fabrication Division providing the labor and know-how to build the car; combined with the Kenny's Rod Shop - Parts Division connections to major manufacturers, the car turned out awesome and proved to be a great draw.
The total raised for Make A Wish foundation of Idaho was $45,390. With additional donations from channel 7 KTVB, the final dollar amount of $59,777 went to this cause.
Winner of the 32 Ford Highboy Roadster was Roger McGary from Benicia, CA.
He bought $20 worth of tickets at the Magic Valley Early Iron Car Show in Twin Falls, Idaho on Saturday April 21. He was in town visiting relatives. His brother-in-law is the chief of police in Buhl Idaho. See RPM Productions page for more details.
Northwest Motorfest is Idaho's largest car show. Every year a project car is raffled off, raising money for the "Make a Wish" foundation. This years goal was to raise >$50,000 which will be enough to grant at least 10 wishes for children with life threatening illnesses.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Idaho grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy
